People of the Omo
Photographer Hans Silvester spent several years in Ethopia documenting the art and lives of the Omo River Valley inhabitants. The Omo people decorate their faces and bodies with natural pigments, plants, and feathers. Their creations are remarkable!

This is when you have to step back, and rethink your concept of beauty, innocence and value. My favourite photos were the ones of the person at the end of the slideshow, the man laying with his entire body adorned by painted on flowers and the person in the middle with a crown of some plant that looked like it was their hair or a lions mane and their face all painted up in the middle of it all. . . Beautiful beautiful photographs. I also hope that none of these persons loose their innocence.

This is really amazing. Each character in the photographs reflect their personality through their body art, and the photographer captures their souls in these images.

Such a talented photographer -- excellent capture of such innocence -- hope none of them lose it, including the photographer!
