| Posted about 1 year ago I would have to say that my favorite watercolorist living today would be Alan Lee. However, I have many other favorites and I could not come to a decision on the other two. If I was allowed to a include an artist who is no longer with us, I would have to call to attention Edward Robert Hughes. He would be considered a romanticist, and ike Alan Lee, there is a breath-taking classical elegance. And hopefully, one-day, myself.... |

| Posted about 1 year ago Stephen Quiller is a fabulous colorist and does great landscapes; David Hockney's recent watercolors are very interesting; I think Wyeth's watercolors are excellent; Milton Avery is a favorite too, though not living. |
