What is your usual turnaround time for posters, brochures, and postcards?

Thats a tough question...  the answer is always driven by the client. They want it in a day, they can have it in a day (pending workload).

Left to my own schedule, No more than a week for any of those...  I hate drawn out jobs.

I quote 48 hours to the customer. However, I am usually done in 2. I generally do 6 clients per day; call them the next day and deliver. They always give me the same response, "Oh, you're fast!"

Works every time.

3 days for finished art is my max. If they want it sooner like in less than 24 hours, do it but I advise the client that I have to tack on a rush charge.

Im with PatM on this one.... I usally give about 2-3 days turaround depending on how much work is involved. If the client supplies photos, text etc then just a couple of days. BUT if I have to go out shoot photos, right text, and illustrate from scratch.....well then it can be up to a week.....A rush fee can be a good way to speed things up if you have the time.....RUSH FEE to me means, okay I clear the schedule and focus on nothing else but this gig....and burn thru to get it cranked out......

Bottom line, price and time out jobs per graphic per project.....

GOOD LUCK!

For me it depends upon the work load. If you only have to design for a poster then you can finished it for 3-5 hours.

I usually give myself 48-72 hours. If a client wants it right away then I charge extra because it means putting aside someone elses work to do theirs. A postcard should take too long but it also depends on the client. If a client is a pain then it can take forever lol.
