| Posted over 2 years ago I am thankful for living in a country where, if you want to be an artist, you can; you may sometimes (ok, often) complain about the financial hardship, the overall population's lack of interest, but it is quite sweet to be that free...I came from France, land of art, where once it became heavily socialized (around 1981), being an artist on your own was just about as easy as being a professional football player here, for many reasons...which would take too long...So, yes, I am thankful for being here, able to do what I love (it was not due to me, it is truly a gift to be that free) |

| Posted over 2 years ago Well, I woke up this morning... I'm thankful for that! I have a great family and they are healthy, what a blessing that is. Blessings, oh yes, I have my faith and the object of my faith, who saves me and who has kept me together through the rough times and enriches my good times, I am thankful for Him. Gifts and abilities that have allowed me to be who and what I am, an American artist living in a country not torn by war, famine or disease. I have so much that I am thankful for (including Art Bistro) that I could literally go on for pages... but I won't so you can relax :) and add some of what's at the top of your own list to this thread. :) Each day is a gift, open it up and play with it! |

| Posted over 2 years ago I'm thankful for my family, my husband the diplomat of the family, my daughters who are as different as moon and sun, my great big twin sons who still delight me each day, they have all been responsible for the expansion of my feelings. I am also grateful for trees and for the woods outside our back door, my bees who are getting ready for winter snow, for the ocean nearby where I walk my crazy black dog, which rejuvenates my soul, and for boundless creativity. |

| Posted over 2 years ago I am thankful to simply be alive. Sometimes things are hard, I mean, that's life, so just being alive is a huge blessing. Also, my wife. She is the one that keeps me going and encourages me to do my art, to keep writing, sculpting, and taking photo's. She is the best thing in my life, really the only thing in my life, and that is great! Plus, I am greatful that I am able to create the art that I wish, of whatever I want, whenever I want, and that I have the access to all the materials that I could ever want. And, of course, I am thankful for my family, they are a huge support of me and my wife, especially since we got married so young. |

| Posted over 2 years ago I am thankful for the synchronism of the universe. Just when I am overwhelmed with paperwork and obligations and dishes, the "right" friend calls and helps me to rest and get over myself. So, Roheer, just how young were you when you got married? And faithhopefreedom, congratulations! annabower, you are so lucky to live by the ocean and you appreciate it! Janice, just by the tilt of your head, we can all see how happy you are. marcel, you have lived in 2 interesting places, haven't you; I'll drink to that! And, Valerie, you work so hard for all of us;

| Posted over 2 years ago I am thankful for my wife, Lois! Without her I would not be walking. I have had both my knees and both my hips replaced. Before the surgeries, my wife was pushing me around in a wheelchair. I am thankful that I can walk without pain and that I can stand next to my wife and look her in the eyes and tell her I love her!

| Posted over 2 years ago I am thankful mainly for being alive, for having a home with a great wife and three amazing healthy kids. For living in a society where I can choose to do something that I love - for doing something that I love, for the intellegence I've been given to think and communicate, for my sanity (however insane I may be), for my sight, my hearing, my hands and feet. For my ability to be creative and think of new ideas. for being able to put food on the table.. For having great parents and a great network of friends (many who I've met on artbistro) for my health, for my ability to get up every morning, to walk, to be active. Even though I have to struggle at times, for not having to starve...I have lots lots more things to be thankful for but I'll stop here for now... |

| Posted over 2 years ago I am thankful that my lease is up even though that kind of sucks -- I'm getting out of a bad deal, but the 'good times' are no more. :( I am also pretty thankful about avoiding the hospital for three whole months! That place is expensive. And I guess I am thankful for my temp job since it's buying christmas presents. <3 |

| Posted over 2 years ago I am overjoyed about spending time with my brother, sister and my niece. It may be the last time we're all together for awhile... I'll cherish evey minute. I am grateful to have overcome as many obsticals as I've had to in the past couple years. I couldn't have done it without my family, my friends, my boyfriend or my Kat, who wakes me up every morning by cuddling up real close. I am grateful to feel such love from everyone around me. |
