| Posted about 1 month ago Would this might not be better and more appropriate to post on your AB profile page ? Not sure if it violates the TOU or not for sales even tho your not selling anything . |

| Posted 15 days ago I understand from reading the other posts that this is a disscussion on wether or not to post your website at Art Bistro and why. I think I have seen a few people who posted web sites and next time they are gone or bumped or something like that. I don't put my site here because I sell my Art on my website. I post on other appropriate places for that purpose and get a lot of response. You can also type the name of an artist into Google if they have a site you can go and look. Not all places are for selling Art, some are just for looking. This forum is unique as a place of learning. Sometimes I would like to have a place to go and look at art with out the pressure of having to buy it. At Art Bistro I enjoy a lot of great feed back and critiques on my paintings. I like going to physical galleries and museums and looking at other peoples art. Here is that place with out leaving home. I like the discussions here even this one. People from all around the world can see my Art here without having to buy it. Some are students and just learning and need encouragement. I like the interaction of encouragement that I get and give here. This is a community of artists shareing ideas and techniques and encouragment. The discussions and little essays written on how to are avery interesting. Not having our websites be a source of ego putting our level of experience out there. If none are posted then we are equal to the begginers and don't seem so intimidating. I have thought about this subject for a while now. I have been here at Art Bistro and enjoyed being part of this quite inspirational place, where I'm not bombarded with adds and websites and virtual stores etc.... I'm happy that the only thing advertised here is the tool testimonials from the contributors about how they acomplish their art. Followed by informative and interactive articles on the unique ways that people produce Art. A quote from my Grandmother Elsie Clarke, "Waste paper and materials, experiment and make something worth keeping and displaying."
