Posted about 1 month ago Hi Everyone, Not sure under what forum to post this question so I'll just ask and if it needs to be moved so be it. If I understand correctly what “Light Transparent” is, the Image would be lit from behind, liken to a light board used for tracing. If I am correct then this Image would be rendered on some sort of plastic / vinyl material that would allow light to pass through it thus bringing the image to light, if you will. Never having done any of this before, ever, I have no clue as to what I need to do in Photoshop to give them what they need. Can anyone please advice me on this, any help would be much appreciated |

| Posted 6 days ago This is an old question, but in case he's still out there: What you are doing is a backlit sign, probably being output on a Lambda or similiar device. It is translucent. You won't have to do any adjusting in Photoshop, outside of any color management that the client or production house requests. In addition, the RIP software will tweak it accordingly for best output. I would suggest avoiding real light colors, as they will tend to wash out when lit. Regardless, I'd call the tech person at your printers and get the specifics. You'll be on the ball, and your client will appreciate it. Hope it goes well.

| Posted 6 days ago blackkwolfe, Thanks for the reply, late or not. Ironically, the image I was referring to was for my friends ShadowlandFoundation.org, a Wolf educational program for children of all ages; Shadow, one of three wolves, is our Black Wolf. Thanks again. Peace, Elemental |
