Posted 5 months ago Giving advice on this subject was never something I felt qualified to do. Just the other day while talking with a high school student about what he felt would be the type of career he would be interested in. The student expressed an interest in marketing which brought me back to a concept I had recently realized was valid. This concept whether I am the first to think of it or not, simply brings the unique ability of an artist who can visualize what is being said in to a accurate illustration as it is being said. At the time experiencing this first hand when working with client did not seem like a big deal yet it was. The thought process here is that an artist is needed in many different fields to bring ideas and innovations that giant leap closer to realization. A client seeing what he has formulated in his mind captured in front of them is like finding a tool in his tool box he had never realized he had. As I explained this concept to the student, his eyes became wide open and he vigorously shook my hand and thanked me for inspiring him. So now we must pull the veil from the eyes of clients in so many fields so they can have their very own artist in that magically imaginative tool box. Raymond |

| Posted 5 months ago Interesting. Definitely alot of doors could be opened with that theory. Because artists can conceptualize ideas and carry over into the visual, we are really that invaluable in that many fields. Have you seen the roses? There's a whole lot of colours!

| Posted 5 months ago Quite a while back during our back and forth chats, I mentioned my experience doing a board game art design for a paraplegic friend Steve. He was passionate about getting it done so I jumped on board and we sat down and began illustrating what Steve was imagining. I would go over to his home after work and weekends. Steve needed his ideas executed exactly as he imagined for the game board to impart the feel and theme he envisioned. Illustrating as we went along was the key to getting the project just as Steve dreamed. We could create the smallest detail and expound on the overall landscape by illustrational communication. Steve and I completed the game board and the paying pieces then had neighborhood kids come and play the game. It was such a thrill to have this result and now know for certain the true value and scope of possibilities artists bring to artistic innovations. Raymond |
