| Posted 5 months ago Depending on how much you have available to you, I'd get a 8 Core Mac Pro if you can swing it...Otherwise, the iMacs are really nice and will be fine to get started on...Make sure you budget enough to get the software...Being a student, you may be able to get the academic rate, which is quite a bit cheaper...Good Luck!
