In spirit of the inspiration let make June's theme a tree.

What's your tree look like?

This was taken at Red Rocks Ampitheater near Morrison, CO - it looks like 2 trees... together... ;)

Fairly recent upload, I often have trees in my work. In this case one is a focal point in the painting:

This is my favorite tree to stand under at Disneyland in California. I love trees with very textured bark and drooping branches. :)

Not sure if I am going to post it here just yet.

My tree would be a maple of any kind or a dogwood. Will post photos in album, if anyone wants to check it out!

My most favorite trees are old, and maybe a little scarred, ones that have a life time of stories to tell... if trees could talk. My profile pic is one of my favorite trees. Visit me to see it.

My wife's great, great grandmother went to the woods and pulled up a little oak tree.  She brought it back and planted it in front of the little farm house.  Been in our family since 1857 and still growing.  I have pictures of all seasons of this giant Oak.  spreads over 130 feet. not sure of the diameter now.

Standing at his appointed place, at the trunk of the tree, he does nothing other than gather and pass on what comes to him from the depths. And the beauty at the crown is not his own.  He is merely a channel.

Paul Klee
