Someone asked me to design and develop  a PowerPoint presentation for them, but they want it so graphics rich, that the file size is too huge for me to transmit it to them through email.  Is there a way to reduce the size of the PPfiles through compression or some other PowerPoint function?  I can't lower the resolution of the artwork I am embedding, because they also want to print hard copies of the PP and if they aren't high enough resolution, they print out blurry.

Any help would be much appreciated!

 Gotta love those monster files...

A couple of ways to get your product to your client that get around email limits, is to use a third party like www.yousendit.com .  There are fees with these services, though.  The end user receives an email, and they click on a link to download the file.

OR, you can use most Instant messengers to do file transfers.  Yahoo instant messenger allows for a two gig transfer at a time, you just drag and drop  your file.  Of course, the end user has to have the messenger, too.

I hope this helps!

I have done Powerpoint presentations in the past and had to design the presentation in something else like Illustrator for printing. For the presentation I reduced all my images to 72 dpi. Soliel_z's recomendation for You Send It is a good one. I use it often but it is free only up to 100megs above that you have to create and pay for an account. Good Luck.
