Posted 5 months ago Someone asked me to design and develop a PowerPoint presentation for them, but they want it so graphics rich, that the file size is too huge for me to transmit it to them through email. Is there a way to reduce the size of the PPfiles through compression or some other PowerPoint function? I can't lower the resolution of the artwork I am embedding, because they also want to print hard copies of the PP and if they aren't high enough resolution, they print out blurry. Any help would be much appreciated! Joyce |

| Posted 5 months ago Gotta love those monster files... A couple of ways to get your product to your client that get around email limits, is to use a third party like www.yousendit.com . There are fees with these services, though. The end user receives an email, and they click on a link to download the file. OR, you can use most Instant messengers to do file transfers. Yahoo instant messenger allows for a two gig transfer at a time, you just drag and drop your file. Of course, the end user has to have the messenger, too. I hope this helps! Soliel_Z |

| Posted 5 months ago I have done Powerpoint presentations in the past and had to design the presentation in something else like Illustrator for printing. For the presentation I reduced all my images to 72 dpi. Soliel_z's recomendation for You Send It is a good one. I use it often but it is free only up to 100megs above that you have to create and pay for an account. Good Luck.
