This was my first Apple computer and I have had it since September of 2004. It has great durability, as it definitely has its share of battle scars. Now 4yrs old it's getting a little slow and the HD is full, but it can still run my CS3 Design Premium so I am impressed. Apple's Pro series laptops are always a good buy.

It is a great computer. My first Mac and I love it. I will never return to PC.

This is my first Mac. I got it back in late '05, and it still works quite well. I really love the sleek, lightweight design, so it's not cumbersome at all. I carry it everywhere with me.

This is my second Apple laptop (iBook) and FIFTH Apple computer (IIc, 7500/100ppc and G4 tower).
Wow, am I really going into my fourth year with this thing? I think that's right!

I run Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop CS2, Illustrator CS2, InDesign CS2, Macromedia DreamWeaver and Flash on this lil powerhouse. And of course web browsers, mail, IM and iTunes. The one thing I do NOT use this for is GAMING- no games installed, except maybe a daashboard game or two (Sudoku or Mine Sweeper).

This is hands down the best computer I have ever owned. I usually like to keep my computers current, but I have had this laptop over three years and I just don't see a need to switch. Absolutely no complaints here.

I've had mine for four years and it has never failed me once and it has been through a lot of use. I pretty much use it all day, everyday for all kinds of things: Adobe CS2, movies, music, chatting and downloads. Majority of the time I had more than 3 of those things running at once and it never seemed to hinder the computer's performance one bit. Though, I did install Leopard not too long ago and the computer is slowing a bit. I recently purchased a 24" iMac and now use the powerbook primarily for whenever I'm traveling. It still is my baby and always will be.
