This book shows every graphic work that Escher has put out, and it even has great descriptions that he gives himself on individual works. Great for research or just reading. Although the book is rather big, it may not even fit on a normal shelf...plus, you may look silly if you just pull this out to read in public, due to its overall size.

Ground-breaking artist... if you can't go to The Netherlands to visit the Escher Museum, this is a pretty nice way to get to know his work.
