Mine had lasted for several years without head replacement or any breakdowns- still makes high quality prints. The drawback, I've found- the colors of some of your prints do not match the original artwork- and you have to adjust the colors of your TIF files (I use Adobe Photoshop 7.0) until you get a printout matching your original artwork.
