In the beginning I was intimidated by the size of the camera. It felt kind of bulky, and I knew I'd have to buy a bigger purse to accommodate it. But after a few pictures, I instantly fell in love. This camera has been by my side for two years running, and has never failed me. I've dropped it, put it through every kind of camera hell, and it preforms just about as well as it did when I first took it out of the box. It's a hearty camera for those of us who are clumsy.

It has a swivel screen for stealth-mode shooting, and those self-portraits I know we're all so addicted to taking when we can't find another model around.

But the best feature of all is the macro. You can get as close as you want to your subject in macro mode, and get a clear, detailed shot. It's a beautiful thing. Here's an example of how amazing the macro is: http://artbistro.monster.com/account/photos/view_photo/101146
Minimal sharpening was applied, but you get the idea.

I highly, highly recommend this camera for the photographer on the go, and the graphic designer who can't buy an expensive DSLR. :)

I gave this product a high rating. I use it just about everyday to capture special moments with my family as well as photographing my work. It's small and compact so I can take it anywhere. It's really easy to use and has a lot of settings. I would recommend this product to everyone!

This little camera has given me great pictures in just about every condition I've worked it in. The pictures have always come out clean and clear. Most of the time Macro work comes out great, although some conditions fool it and there's some distortion. (I'll just chalk this up to OE for now). The only way I would put this camera down is if I got a Canon upgrade...I mean a significant one, say the new DSLR model that is due out soon!! I recommend this camera to anyone who wants seriously good pictures without having to stand on your head (although that would work with this camera, too!)
