These are my favorite inks. They are super concentrated, and come in about 100 different colors including very vibrant, intense, and saturated hues. I use them primarily with a brush. They can be watered down, but still have an amazing potency. They do funky things like granulation and crystallization if you apply them in certain ways. great product. I don't really buy any other ink. Winsor and Newton are like watered down versions of these. Plus they come with nice dropper bottles. They are not opaque, so if you need that, get something else.

I love to use them to hand color photographs and for airbrushing, only problem they fade over time.

I love to use booth the dies and the inks - they are ceated for fresh fun color, but not for lasting brillance. These work well for book layouts, posters and other art created for printing. They also work well with permant inks for translucent effects. Remember that the fresh work looks the best....

I like the colors, but permanency is an issue.

WOW, WHAT CONCENTRATION OF COLOR. I borrowed a small set of these not all colors, but blended some to make colors I needed and they are really great, but expensive for my budget.

I am an old-timer to commercial illustration; Dr Martin products were all I used for years for all my commercial projects. Great for airbrush too!
As to the permanence issue, for fine art works make sure you use a very good UV protective glass.
