I love to use Graphic Sticks (Hoh-I-Nor, or other brands) for my sketches and even final line art... a great all around tool for cartooning, conceptual art and illustration.

these are so wonderful for getting that nice solid dark that you need for contrast when working with harder pencils. I love these.

This is a great product , no waste as no wood covering. Easy to use and able to use on all sides when needed for shading.

very nice pencils to use when drawing. The only down side is that they are very easy to break.

I love them! They come in a wide variety of hardnesses and are great for smooth shading. They are also easier keep sharp than regular pencils, so I don't have to sharpen them all of the time. The only drawback is that if you break one you won't know what pencil end you have (is this my 2H or 5B?).

i prefer to use graphite pencils over paper when transfering my designs from my sketchbook to canvas or other media ... you have better control and less smudging

Great for large areas! I love to use them when I am working on just putting info on the paper. Have not use this brand, but most are good to work with.

These are fantastic! They're perfect for for getting those really dark tones in my drawings, and since there's no wood, there's no waste. Love 'em.

I like using these! I turn them into powder rubbing them on sandpaper to do graphite drawings using tortillians.

You just cannot beat the consistency of the graphite with these sticks. No matter what hardness you are looking for, these pencils are smooth and easy to smudge and blend. They almost remind me of a wax pencil or even an oil pastel. Love them.
