Consistent color and performance, longevity and color-fastness of product. The manufacturer provides tons of information on their website: www.liquitex.com

I like the heavy body because it gives you the option of thinning at will for different applications. I find this paint maintains consistent color over time and the tubes are easier to use than other brands.

I have used many different brands when painting with acrylics and have found that liquitex best suites my needs for consistency, texture, and hue saturation. I also enjoy that they provide the line "Liquitex Basics" which cost a little less, but are equally effective for different purposes.

When it comes to acrylics, I like using it basically because I like to work quick. I'm pretty impatient with how I work, I just go ahead and attack the canvas whatever comes to my mind. Liquitex is the basic product for acrylics, nothing else is better than Liquitex. Although I can work with any product, Liquituex gives me the high quality I need to work. Also, if you find the big tubs of it, that's more of your money's worth...the more the better.

After I had identified the subtle colour differences in one brand from another, it was a cinch to work these brightly pigmented colours into my palette. They are easy to get from the tube and wonderfully responsive to multi-media applications.

This brand has good consistancy and thickness in their paint. It makes it easy to thin to taste. Its one of my favorites:)

This is a nice paint to start out with, the paint mixes well with the water to make an over all smooth stroke and it isn't to over powering for beginers

I love these products! very versatile, easy to find in most stores, cheap, great color consistency and a huge product line. The only thing that bothers me recently, is that I cannot find "Heavy Body" in 8oz. jars anymore since the release of "Super Heavy Body" in jars. Some are TOO thick! Cadmium Yellow Light Hue is nearly impossible to thin. Otherwise, great product, great price....check out jerrysartarama.com for really amazing pricing!!!!

wide range of colors that dry qucikly and are faithful to the wet look. they generally mix well with other colors (though not always). they dry so quickly that you don't have a lot of time to mix colors on the canvas. there are useful products available that slow the drying process a little, and of course, you can use some oil based procuts for a longer drying period.

Have used Liquitex for about 40 years. The quality has fallen off in the last 15 years. The pigment grain size has tripled, making a coarser paint. You would be better served using Utrecht or Golden Brand Paint in most colors.
Golden has much better range of mediums and extras...

I love using acrylic paints, as you can cover it up pretty well if you make a mistake, most other paints like watercolor you can't do this .... :) I have a set of acrylic paints that my husband bought me from the hobby lobby store and I painted a picture for a friend for her birthday, it came out really awesome in my opinion.

Rough Tough and Tumble. Liquitex Acrylic is a favorite in my mixed media and Acrylic works. One, when I was an early student, I could afford them. After 33 years of using them, they are tough. They can stand up to all kinds of punishment with no cracking and loss of color. Good Stuff!

I had been using Liquitex Acrylics ever since I was in art school and have used purchased them in different sizes & colors. These acrylic paints are affordable and colorfast. These were invaluable to me and I can honestly say that I've used them in both student assignments as well as my own illustrations. Even though I do less traditional painting, I'd still purchase Liquitex Acrylics when the urge to paint the old-fashioned way strikes me.

Liquitex Arcrylics have always been my favorite heavy body paint(s). I like the consistency I can acquire through the adding of water. I can ad a lot of water to make it appear as watercolors: wet on wet. I also like using it thick, with a gel retarder to get the same effect as impasto, that one achieves with oil paint! I use this paint all the time, to be used in my airbrush. I'd love to own all of Liquitex's products one day. Liquitex Acrylics are the BEST Acrylics on the market today!

The best acrylics on the market, hands down. I've been using it for years. Their interference colors really transform your canvas and give it a life of it's own. Only downside is that there are only a few interference colors available.
