Is anyone else having trouble getting Photoshop CS3 to work with this product. Photoshop and Bridge crash when I use it, Adobe tells me it's in conflict with the Wacom and Wacom says I have the correct up to date driver? When Photoshop doesn't crash, I love the tool!

I like the realistic feel of this digital pen and tablet - keystroke speed and pressure are both very responsive and I am able to create designs that appear to have been done in media eg water color or chalk that I cannot just carry everywhere I go.

I use it to create each piece from start to finish. It's great and I am in love with the pressure sensitivity. It allows me to paint digitally almost as if I were painting in real life, but with out the mess....and a trusty undo key.

I have a intuos 3 and a graphire 4 and love them both. It takes some time to get used to using the pen tool but now I have trouble using a mouse. I'd be lost without them

I have a small one of these. It's fantastic to sign your name, or to do photoshop work. I'm still getting use to mine.

I just picked one up and I had the same problem as Stanmcq, it kept crashing photoshop, just get a new driver from them and you should have no problems... Sure is expensive... Why couldn't it be like 10 bucks, then i'd buy 2.

This is a great beginners tablet, but for serious artist wacom makes a 19 x 24 tablet that is superior to this. The 19 x 24 runs about 750.00 but it is worth every penny. The smaller tablet will get you started though and the cost of the tablet is a good price.

6x9 is a sweet size, but there are lots of sizes. The added sensitivity of the intuos is worth the extra cost.

Great product! there are so many ways you can use this workhorse that they only thing that you will wonder about is what its limits are. Quick-keys to the right and left, a mouse for mousing, touch-sensitive strips replace failure-prone scroll wheels (not that the scroll-wheel on the mouse is a slouch-it's a real workhorse too), and the unbelievable freedom that not having to 'draw with a bar of soap' mean once you taste Intuos3, you'll never want to go back.
For those with larger screens, the bigger Intuos3s match the aspect ratios of the newer, longer, wider screens. You'll be in heaven with that!

I have a blast using the Intuos3. I have a 6x8 and have absolutely no problems working on larger scale pieces in PhotoShop CS2. All I do is sketch out the image in pencil (although I could do it via Wacom), scan it in and off I go. And if you take a look at some of the work I did in my portfolio "artrocities," it shows that I'm having a really good time. MUCH better than painting the traditional way... and much quicker, too!

It's a must-have for any artist doing digital work. Once you get use to hand/eye coordination it's almost like real life drawing and painting. The only drawback is the restrictive movements. Everything is created using small finger and wrist gestures unlike using the total arm and body for actual drawing and painting. If you get a chance give this product a go. You will never do without again.

LOVE!!!! I heart Wacom! I don't do a ton of illustration, but even just my day-to-day designs are complimented by utilizing this tool. Just the fact that it has single-handedly (no pun intended) has alleviated my wrist pain is enough for me to be life-long believer! Get one!! You don't know what you're missing.

This is a must have for any illustrator/graphic artist. I have one at work and love to use both the mouse and pen tool to do my designing! :)

Very useful when using Photoshop but indespensible if using Corel Painter. After a small learning curve, it really is much easier to use and control than a mouse.

The tablet gives you the freedom that a mouse cannot provide. The pen tool is much more user friendly with this tool.

I love the way I can create versus using the mouse. I can detail images and get neat, tight areas that are impossible with the mouse. Wouldn't trade my Wacom tablet for the world!

I could not do without my 6x9 Wacom Tablet. It saves me time, and responds to pressure applied with infinate sensitivity. If working on a large format, it has equal quality with pen and ink and I can revise scanned ink work without obvious difference in control. I use it with Adobe CS2 and have even colored my latest Children's Book using multiplied layers. I can make an oil paint look, or a watercolor look and have a control without the mess or risk of ruining the original inkwork on the board. The blacks stay black and don't get covered by the paint. Best invention I have seen in years. No glitches no problem.

I've never realized the difference of investing in tools for better performances until I bought a Wacom tablet. Photoshop and Illustrator was definitely on my side after getting this beautiful thing. Thank you wacom!

It takes some getting used to, hand and eye coordination. For some reason, after my computer hibernates or logs off to the windows xp front where you choose a user name, it stops working, and its really annoying. I have a 4x6, and its been good, I could zoom in on photoshop, but I am now wanting a bigger size like 9x12, but that is about $400-ish... expensive!

Dis-association; if you just look at the screen and not where your hand is located on the pad I found the process to be much better. I bought one right before Christmas and it took me till the end of January just to beable to read my name after I signed it,oh and I don't have a doctors signature either. Practice makes better, more practice helps as frustration slips away and conquest prevails. As a self-taught user of old school, I made myself use the Wacom Tablet at least one hour a day.

The WACOM Intuos 3 tablet is an excellent piece of hardware, second only to the WACOM Cintiq 21UX. If you are a digital artist or designer, the WACOM tablet is a must have. However, if you can afford it, purchase the Cintiq!
