Cool Magazine that prodominantly features hip illustration and avant garde art. It is definatley worth a look. It proclaims itself to be an "Art and Culture" magazine but leans more towards deviant art and counter culture. The only reason I do not give it five stars is I cannot have this magazine in my house with a child running around: Some of the art has questionable taste and can be border line, if not overtly, pornographic. That being said there is great art and illustraion to be seen in this magazine.

I used to buy this magazine but find it increasingly too esoteric and cliquish. Some of the art is very good and mind expanding, but a lot was plain junk being presented as avant garde. They also need to expand their marketing products, eg tee shirts that border on Nazi symbolization...bottom line is I got turned off.

this is actually the first art mag that I bought, along with "Overspray," "Art In America," and some other one. I really like this mag because it has ads in it for different galleries showing in every major city. Also, Im just drawn to the style of art that they portray.

One of my friends turned me on to this magazine a while ago. I really enjoy the broad spectrum that they cover from hotel walls to new toy lines. I find mydelf leafing through this magazine when I feel like I need a little push to better my skills. They really do showcase some amazing artists.

While not the old 'lowbrow' magazine it used to be, Juxtapoz seems to be evolving into more of a New American Paintings type of mag. The quality of artists can range, and I can be rather disappointed in some of the Artist Statements that accompany the work.

If you want a good kick to your creativity to get it going, then I recommend this mag.

My firm ran ads that we designed in this magazine, so they started sending them to us and the creative dept. always got a couple extra copies. This is an amazing magazine to get the juices flowing, and many of the pieces from different issues I've torn out and are now on my "inspiration wall" in my studio. There is just alot of interesting, thought-provoking stuff in Jux. It's always a good day in the office when new issues come in!

I love this magazine's visuals and the in depth stories on emerging underground artists, but there are waaaaayyy too many ads in it... I need more substance

I don't like to bragg but this is how gained joy in art when I was down and out and did not know what to do. It would always kinda slap me in the face and then when I couldn't find it. I changed majors.

One of my favorite art magazines - you get a diverse style and range of artists you don't normally hear about and I love the overall look of it

A few years back I adored this magazine. And often when I pick an issue I do find some surprises. In fact, this is where I first viewed one of my favorite artists, Joe Sorren (who I later met at a show and he's a nice guy too!). But for a magazine that catalogued the underground and unique, the styles started to run together, which is why I stopped subscribing. Lowbrow can still be amazing, but you still have to few the art with a discerning eye.

yeah this mag is all that in terms of inspirations and covers a wide spectrum of talent from issue to issue. i like that in this magazine because every time ive personally bought an issue none of the talents rarely connect to each other, every talent is diff and has something to offer to inspire you in diff ways. A def nice mag overall.

Juxtapoz is a solid art/culture magazine that focuses on a more youthful group of artists ranging from up and coming to already made it. I appreciate how this magazine doesn't overlook art forms considered more low brow like street or graffiti art

Really great to have an art mag that also talks to other artists like tattoo artists and not just formal gallery work.
