I love these. Produce beautiful results and are affordable. I have used other products when the color I need just isn't here but all and all I love these.

This brand of clolored pencils is the only brand that i use. They are wonderful. They have a blending pencil that can almost eliminate andy flaw with the blending.

These were the only colored pencils I used, back when I used colored pencils. :)

These are the best pencils on the market in my opinion. My teachers and employers will only take projects done in these pencils. They have brilliant color and blending. Yes, they are really pricey compared to others. But you can seriously notice the difference. If you can afford these, this is what you should use everytime.

I haven't found any other colored pencil that can even compare to Prismacolor. I bought my first set when I was 14 and I've been addicted to them ever since. Once you use them, you're spoiled and can never go back to another kind. The vibrant colors and the thick coverage have completely converted me. I'm a Prismacolor lifer.

Prisma Colors..... theres not much to say really except one word- AWESOME, they blend so much more smoothly than crayola and roseart colored pencils, i still have to compare them to fiber-castell, but other than that, they are the best colored pencils and i don't even like colored pencils! :)

I love these wax based pencils and will not use any others. I am now trying to experiment with blending with other products and and on different supports.

these are pretty good pencils, i prefer them over any other one. one thing i dont like is you have to have a good sharpener for these or the tip will keep breaking.

Prismacolor is "King" and everyone know's it. Prismacolor allows artists to become prolific without the mess.

Absolutely hands down the best pencils. I don't even consider buying another brand. They have a wide variety of colors and they blend so well with each other.

I love this product. Their smooth consistency in application gets them five stars from me. Their cost effectiveness gets high marks as well. :) I don't have to freak out when my kids get a hold of them for school or personal projects. All around, great pencils.

The lead that these are made of leaves you with an incredibly smooth stroke. I really enjoy the difference from the hard color pencils which can leave a very blocky look. Over all i just find this product to be a fun to use tool.

I use these at least once a week. It is a worthy investment for an artist beginner or professional.

Its a good produce to have...

I was always told that these were the cream of the crop for colored pencils. However, I have found that the leads are too soft and break easily, even within the wooden housing. Too often, I have had more of the lead in my sharpener that on the paper.

Bright, intense and eye-catching colors. These pencils take all that you can dish out and still fare better than most colored pencils. I first used them when I was in my teens, and 35 years later, I've still got a set. Great for beginners and experienced artists alike!

These are the pencils I swear by. I haven't drawn in so long but I had to give them a double thumbs up. The colors are amazing and vivid, and blend superbly. I had no experience blending and was a pro after my first few tries thanks to these babies.

Hands-down my favorites. They lend themselves very well to layering, blending and burnishing. Their watercolor pencil line is just as high-quality as well. Quick note: For those of you having trouble with your pencil sharpeners breaking the leads --> sharpen them with a razor blade (utility knife). This way you won't get such a long taper on the point, weakening it. Let a 1/4" of the lead protrude from the wood and then sharpen the tip. Works great, no breakage issues.

I love the strong lasting colors

Really great. I primarily work with the markers, and go over the markers with accents of the pencils.

Once I found these, I don't use any other kind of color pencil. They have such a bright and long lasting color. I use them also with the prismacolor markers and you can get some wonderful effects.

LOVE THESE! I haven't used them in a while but I always used them to draw out all my Airbrush graphics before a big job. Nice bright colors and they blend well. Worth every penny

I have used these colored pencils for years and I just love the new blend stick. Wow!!! so sweet, and it really does a blending job without greying down the colors as it adds none since it is transparent

I absolutely love Prismacolors. They are my first choice when buying colored pencils. They have more pigment than other brands that tend to use more wax. Prismacolors are smooth and vivid and of the highest quality. They may be a bit pricier than other brands but they are worth every cent.

Love, love, LOVE these!!! So much better than standard pencils. Much easier to shade and color with.. they blend nicely too. These are by far my favorite product.

The colored pencils are a classic and I continue to buy them. I also would suggest the marker sets that are available.

kind of pricey but worth it. Please be careful of discounted sets because they may have been damaged by either being dropped or traumatized to the point where the color is no longer intact. I received a set from a reputable website and the colors were so broken up it had to sharpen them to a nub before getting a point that would stay in the wood casing.

They work really well but they are a little pricey for me.

I love their brilliant color. They go so well with the Prismacolor markers too. Great for presentation drawings and lovely renderings.

I dig on these guys cuz they are perfect for doing a color test on tattoo sketches and flash. they blend just like tattoo ink.

These pencils are COMPLETELY AWESOME! The only thing comparable is Spectracolor, but they don't seem to be as widely available. Forget vine charcoal! Prismacolor does it and does it a whole lot better. If I had to choose only one product, it would be Prismacolor.

love these... crayola's got nothin on prismacolor!

Beautiful and wide range of colors. Soft led which blends amazingly. So far, I've yet to find anything better or comprable. My only qualm with the pencils is the led breaks easily. However, this is easily remedied by sharpening the pencils manually with a knife.

Hands down best pencil crayons on the market, especially if you like to blend. Make sure you have a very good and sharp pencil sharpener or they will break on you. They got me though Design school, thank you Prismacolor!

I have been using Prismacolor pencils for almost 20 years for doing fine details, or complete pencil works. You can use it in conjuction with Prismacolor markers, pastels and over any acrylic paints, inks and watercolors. It is an excellant product to use in any mixed media work. Prismacolors come singular and in different sized sets. There is also a blender pencil that works wonders. Also the pencils come in regular and fine sized points. I would recommend this colored pencil to any budding artist as well as to the seasoned artist who has never tried them.

Prismacolors are without a doubt the best colored pencils out there. They are smooth enough to blend beautifully, but not so soft as to run down too quickly. At the same time, they are also rich, bold, and very durable. Hands down the best color selection on the market. I refuse to use any other pencils!

I could never possibly imagine using something else! They have been the greatest success for me and have seriously built my career. I love you Prismacolors!

I have truly fallen for Prismacolor colored pencil. I have used several different brands, but these are by far my top choice. the quality and blending ability is incredible. Wonderful lay down of color also. I couldn't believe it, I was a Cargo Largo and they had the large set for like $44.00 and then 40% off so I grabbed them up during a 15 minute sale. I had wanted the large set, but wasn't able to pay that price at the time at an art store. It was the deal of the spring for me. How could I pass up that kind of quality at such an unbelievable price. Even at full price you would be happy with this products quality!

Anything made by Prismacolor is awesome for sketching, shading, all out freehand drawing or any illustrations.

Its all I have ever used and its never failed me!!!

These are the bomb!

Don't know of any other brands that I have relied on as much. Works very well with the Prismacolor markers. The blending marker helps get a good mix of the two mediums.

These are wonderful! They blend amazingly well and come in every color you could imagine and then some! lol Sometimes I wish they were cheaper (artist's budget and all) but you get what you pay for and these are worth it.

I was first introduced to this product in art class back in high school, and I've been using them ever since. I really love the creamy texture that allows easy blending of colors.

Perhaps the greatest product available for creatives. If you are looking for vibrant expressions and color mixing these babies are for you. If you're wanting to illustrate dynamic and elaborate designs for storyboards or art shows, give them a shot...they wont let you down. The best thing about these and that sets them aprt from traditional pencils is the amount of oil. They are an oil-base stick and have tremendous blending capabilities. Ive used them for 14 years and Ive mixed them with conte, pastel and even used them with watercolor. They never fail. With countless colors to choose from including metallics, Prismacolor is the best pencils on the market. Period.

Great colored pencils. Try blending them using turpentine if you haven't already.

They blend beautifully on many different kinds of paper and boards. Wide variety of colors that you can also get individually if you run out.

Pencils break too often when sharpening.

I'm not at a high level of coloring ability, but I've found Prismacolor colored pencils to be very easy to handle for a beginning color pencil artist, and blend well together.

Great color quality and soft for color mixing, shading, and variants. White pencil great for blending. My favorite colored pencils out there. They are worth the price.

Every artist needs coffee cans full of these,I still have pencils from the first sets I bought,yeah they're short stubby things but anyway I like them.

Of all the color pencils on the market, none have the ability to blend one color on top of another as well these. When drawing and I think, "color", the Prismacolor is what I go for, pencils and the art sticks.

I don't ever use any other colored pencil anymore. The consistancy of color from pencil to pencil is great. Blending is a joy and they color fastness is really good, too.

I have used Prismacolor almost exclusively for over twenty years. These pencils give me uniformity of color, quality, and lightfastness (if that's a word). Along with the Prismacolor Art Stix, they fulfill my needs.

my absolute favorite drawing tools. the colors are true and apply on the paper smoothly. draw beautifully and i have used them for years and years.

one might as first feel as if all colored pencils are the same... ABSOLUTELY NOT these are the best colored pencils to use they apply smoothly blend easily and the colors are vibrant and not discollored with wax like other colored pencils... after one uses these they will be able to tell the huge diffrence between these and regular colored pencils!!!!

Like'm, got a lot of them, don't like the breakage. Fav's are Verithin then standard cp. Used to layer over watercolor background.

I've been using the Prismacolor pencils for about 20 years now, and like so many other people have said, they're well worth the money. You could use a cheaper brand, but the results would definitely be less than appealing.

These pencils have excellent vibrancy of color. They are the best colored pencils I've ever used, but I think they were better in the mid-90's--they seemed to have more wax in the lead.

If there every was a holy grail of colored pencils this would be it. Used properly, prismacolor pencils can make a masterpiece all it's own. It may be expensive, but the money is worth the product.

I knew these pencils had to be some of the best pencils ever when my art teacher in high school kept them locked away in her desk. After advancing to he AP class I finally figured out why. I bought my first set a few weeks ago and finally finished my first piece with it. It almost blends like some pastels. Downside is how expensive they are and if you're doing a large project they don't last long.

I don't think it's possible to find a better colored pencil. (I'd be glad to hear of one if it's out there) Yes, the lead occasionally breaks, but no more than any other colored pencil... it's just more upsetting because you wish none of it would go to waste; it looks that good on paper.

I love these pencils. They have a large choice of colours. The pencils are work horses. I have used them with several other mediums and they almost always respond the way I wanted.

i've had these pencils in my possesion since the mid 80's. i first used them to duplicate Iron Maiden album covers with. They make a good foundation for airbrush work. i know many a trick or two with these pencils. Ronsonol lighter fluid is one... the other.... well..... you figure it out and tell me.!!!!!

Prismacolor colored pencils are wonderful! They have a gazillion colors and the leads are nice & soft. They allow for excellent blending of colors! I love these colored pencils!

When it comes to colored pencils, nothing beats Prisma. The wax in each pencil helps it to blend perfectly, and some blending liquids can even be used to smooth the color out even more.

Prisma colored pencils are durable and can handle a number of different surfaces, without their blending being hindered.

These are excellent colored pencils. The color goes on smooth and consistent with a wide range of value by adjusting pressure. You can easily put color down light and thin or dark and thick. Colors blend well, are bright, pure, and look very nice. Tips don't break easy and can be brought to a sharp point with various sharpeners.

The best colored pencils I have -ever- used. Versatile, smooth, easy to work with, just awesome and 100% worth every cent, and I would be willing to pay more in a heart beat for the quality!

They are a little waxy but still probably some of the best pencils available. The set of 72 or whatever massive number is fantastic!!!

I use it alot in mostly all my art work i did.

I'm still using stubs of Prismas that i bought 40 years ago. I guard them jealously.

I like using these, but for massive layered color... they tend to have a waxy build up on the drawing. I have to go in with a cheese cloth and rub off the wax slowly, but it's lift the pigment out which I don't like.

After using these colored pencils, I won't use anything else!

I have had my 100 set for a long time. They are the best colored pencils I've used. They give a smooth finish and the color is highly pigmented. I think they are the best way to add color to any paper illustrations.
