I have used Utrecht for the past 20 or so years (It was when I was a student at HCC in Tampa,Fl) I incurage my Students (I teach adult acrylic classes at the local ART LEAGUE of DAYTONA BEACH) to use Utrecht Paints - I like the fell of the paint and the way I can mix it on my canvas -- most people think my acrylics are Oil!

I too used Utrecht as a student and now as an instructor, send my students there for supplies. They bend over backwards to have my supply list items in stock and always remember me. Excellent products and customer service

I have been buying art supplies from Utrecht for years in their NYC stores. I buy their own products, like canvas, paint and brushes. Top quality and great prices. I always shop here and no where else.

I gotta say they have some great Oil paints. The price is great and the quality is excellent! They don't have to mark them up so much because it is their own private label. Highly recommended if you oil paint!

Since I have been a student at IADT online in the graphic design program, I have used only Utrecht art supplies. So far I have excelled in my assignments and classes and I think it is due to the materials used for projects.

they did not have some of the things I was looking for, but the prices and the quality were good, also - the atmosphere in the store was very pleasant and the staff-helpful. I loved the fact that they had a small easel with paper and crayons, so my 2 year old can enjoy her time while I was shopping:-)

Utrecht has saved my life a few times. I had an art show I was trying to get entered in and the only supply store in town that had what I needed was Utrecht's. They gladly assisted me, and even helped me mount my art work for the show. They get a big five for product knowledge and customer service!!!

We have other stores that have the same products for less, but they do not have the knowlegeable people working at them. If you already know everything about the products you want to but, then it may pay you to shop elsewhere, but it you want real answers for your artistic needs - get your supplies here!

I frequent Utrecht's outlet store in Cranbury, NJ- They are amazing over there! A wealth of information, very supportive of local arts education, and the prices can't be beat. If you are ever in the area, I highly recommend stopping in. Anything they don't have in the outlet, if you call ahead they can get it for you from the warehouse- AWESOME!

Excellent catalog and online orders are even better! Price$ and selections are great AND C/S is fantastic. Gotta order gouache.

whenever it's my birthday - i request gift certificates from utrecht! the best place to shop for supplies and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

I've been using Utrecht art supplies for the past 15 years. Utrecht acrylic colors are high quality and have a wide spectrum of colors. Utrecht nylon brushes are long lasting and give me great results. Bristol paper and canvas as well are first notch. I can find Arches Watercolor paper, which is my favorite, and Canson Canva-paper, which I use for my tri-dimensional/origami kinoptgic art.

Great prices! Great sales! Recently used "good customer' on-line discount coupon. Stores distant enough to bite the bullet on shipping charges when compared to price of gas, plus aggravation of driving. Shipping is very fast!

I have used Utrecht paints and canvas since coming to the US 22 yrs ago. I especially love their ARTIST ACRYLICS.
They make, without exception, the best Acrylic Artist GESSO available IN THE WORLD, and at about the best price.

As a new art student heading into college last year, I had no idea what materials to get for my classes. Never picked up a brush in my life, never had to buy 3 different types of paper; to say say the least I was in way over my head. The Employees at Utrecht sat down and went over my materials lists with me and not only helped me find the materials, but educated me on them as well. Two thumbs up for Utrecht!
