This computer is a rocket! Power to handle large art files, no problems to date, none like my Win PC gave me. Low vulnerability to viruses and other maladies that plague Windows. Expansion is a snap. The Leopard OS is great. Mac's are so easy to handle. I will never go back to Windows.

The monitor is a dream. Clear, crisp images with fantastic color. Great graphics and speed from this graphics card. Two hard drives allow for applications on one and graphic files on another, or use the second for backup, but this is optional.

The only negative is the lack of plug-in development for Mac's. However, this has turned out to be an advantage for me. I have used more of my own creativity, instead of depending on filters to do the work for me. This give me more of a sense of originality in my digital art.

This system is expensive, but I saved for it and I am so happy I did. It is worth every penny.

i like this product

I like using the G5, but I don't care much for cloning another internal hard drive in Disk Utilities. I did just that and then it wouldn't let me use it as the startup disk after I had made it the startup disk in System Preferences. I had major problems after that, with the drive and ultimately it quit working! I bought it brand new the day before. Next time I will install the new hard drive in the "A" upper bay and do a clean install from the OS X cd.

Wow. Now this is a dream machine. I bought my quad core mac pro in mid 2008 and have yet to have one problem Combined with my Wacom Cintiq 21UX, art has a whole new meaning for me.
