I've been using the .005 PIGMA pen for about 8years. 100% of my drawing are done with them. They are superb for detail, offer a wonderful feather look on rag paper when dealt with a gentle hand. Time tested and proofed to be consist in application.

You really cant beat the price for the line you get out of these. Even though they wear out pretty fast, they are only 1.99 much cheaper than rapidograph pens or other fancy pens that cost 20 times as much

Whenever I cannot have a quill pen due to lack of convenience, this is my first choice for a substitute! Durable tip and consistent ink flow make it my preference over other products.

These are my absolute favorite pens to work with. The only issue I've ever had was when my children "borrowed" them and returned them bent. The nib is fragile. But I've never broken one on my own... ;)

I use these primarily for my inking. The only problem is, they run out of ink far too quickly. If they actually had a nice well of ink in them, I'd give them a 5. But at the price you pay, it's just not enough ink.

These pens are outstanding for anyone who works with small-scale, detail-oriented projects. They do tend to run out of ink somewhat quickly, but only if you misuse them (write with them, use them over large areas, etc.) The ink is extremely durable and will not fade over time, or smear easily as with some other "wait to dry" art pens. I've tried a *lot* of different similar products over the years, and I always come back to the Pigma Micron pens as the ultimate best. Ideal for detail work, could not be better!

I like these pens because they come in different numbers and so I can choose the kind for the thickness of the line I am drawing. When I do my nursery names I use a .03, and have been known to use a .01. For other lines I use the .05 as suggested. I would advise anyone to try these as I think they are great.

I use these pens in black for sketching. The quality is superb. The ink holds up well to watercolor washes and is fairly archival. I don't recommend it for casual writing as the tip does break when pressure is used, however it is one of the more stronger brands and great for inking or lettering.
