Sometimes I use cheaper canvas, but this is the best I cam afford. There is even better, but the price becomes astronomical. I buy it in rolls and stretch it myself. It's 10 times tougher than cotton! If you want to pait like a master, get oil primed canvas like Rembrandt himself used- not the commercial plastic gesso primed stuff! This stuff is glue sized and double primed on the finest closely woven linen- not the more common cotton duck! If you want your paintings to last centuries- get this quality canvas.

This is really good I hear. I've used various medium linens and I'veseen quite a few artists mention they use this. I intend to purchase a yard or two and try it out. Linen is better to paint on than cotton. More pricey though
