Animals Run Wild in Chelsea
Eric Fischl: "Ten Breaths", Mary Boone Gallery
Valerie Atkisson / ArtBistro
October 12, 2009
h4.Trenton Doyle Hancock: “Fear”
James Cohan Gallery
So we are getting away from all the animals, although you may find some here too. Trenton’s abstract paintings contain narrative elements of the battle between good and evil in an absurdist fashion. His main character is Betto Watchow an enlightened Vegan prophet. and St. Sesom who introduces Vegans to the world of color.

Thanks for the walkthrough! I don't get to NY, so it's great to see some samples although it's always better in person.

Thanks for the walk Valerie, it's fun to see other galleries without having to leave my warm house....although i'm sure the work is 100% better in person, hey it's the next best thing to being there.....great job and bet you had fun....

Glad you had, or are having, a nice trip to town. I can highly recommend Nathalie Djurberg's show to anyone having trouble keeping on a diet during the holidays. It's a super appetite suppressant.
