Animals Run Wild in Chelsea

Animals Run Wild in Chelsea

Eric Fischl: "Ten Breaths", Mary Boone Gallery

Valerie Atkisson / ArtBistro

October 12, 2009

Can you say animals? I’ve never seen so many animals and I was not at the Bronx Zoo. I was in Chelsea. Sometimes when you walk through the Chelsea galleries there emerges themes that you have to wonder if the dealers all meet in a small room somewhere and say, okay December is animals, mirrors, and Baroque. That is what this month was. Come on the walk with me!

Thanks for the walkthrough! I don't get to NY, so it's great to see some samples although it's always better in person.

Thanks for the walk Valerie, it's fun to see other galleries without having to leave my warm house....although i'm sure the work is 100% better in person, hey it's the next best thing to being there.....great job and bet you had fun....

Glad you had, or are having, a nice trip to town. I can highly recommend Nathalie Djurberg's show to anyone having trouble keeping on a diet during the holidays. It's a super appetite suppressant.
