On ArtBistro: Linda Byrne (friend me!)
What kind of an artist do you describe yourself as? I’m a visual artist working in painting, drawing, sculpture, and installation.
What has been your career path as an artist and how did you come to be a self-supported artist?
I studied Fine Art at Parsons School of Design but left after 2 years to get out into the world. I continued making art through motivated self-study. I traveled widely, lived in both San Diego, CA and Barcelona, Spain, found a work studio, and supported myself doing freelance graphic work for packaging design and branding companies.
