About Me: Graphic design is my life's passion.
I've done it professionally for nearly two decades. Until just a little over a year ago, I worked full-time in fabulous Las Vegas for Harrah's Entertainment, the world's largest chain of casino hotels. Specifically, I was the only in-house print advertising graphic artist for the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, Paris Las Vegas and Bally’s Las Vegas.

Created from my office at the Rio, my artwork was reproduced on billboards and moving vehicles (taxi-toppers and minibus wraps), in national and local magazine display ads, newspaper ads, posters, backlit signs, banners, brochures, booklets, rack cards, fliers and in a multitude of other print collateral pieces. I was responsible for maintaining a consistent brand look for these 3 hotels, their famous stage shows (e.g., Penn & Teller, Mel Brooks' The Producers, and Chippendales) and for the World Series of Poker occurring every summer at the Rio. In the area of branding, I also created logos. Occassionally, I wrote advertising copy to accompany my designs.

In March 2008, I resigned from Harrah's Entertainment to venture out on my own as a freelancer. I became an American expatriate by relocating to the beautiful city of Chihuahua, Mexico, and partnering my talents with AdVision, an advertising agency there. I exclusively dedicated myself to freelancing both print and web designs for several agency clients.

In 2009, however, I returned to United States to work and currently seek the right company or creative organization to join forces with. Meanwhile, I have taken a job outside my field just like so many others have done during these tough economic times. I drive an 18-wheeler in long hauls across USA. It's a stop-gap to support my family. Due to the demands of this job, I don't get online here as often as I'd like. Nevertheless, I remain steadfast in my search for the ideal graphic design opportunity.
