About Me: I was born in the beautiful state of Tennessee...grew up in the country outside of Nashville...attended college at Middle Tennessee State University (BS-Art-'72); (MAT- Humanities (Art Major)-'76. Vietnam Era Veteran ('66-'70)...was a Sergeant in the USAF. In 1965, I married the most beautiful lady in the World...have been married to her (Carolyn) all my life...and hopefully for the rest of my life! We have one son, Rick...he should be rich...he certainly works hard enough to be so. My best pal and constaint companion (besides you, Hcat...) is none other than Rowdy, who is my dinosauer puppy!...Actually, Rowdy is my 7-year-old Chocolate Lab! I am told he is a tiny bit spoiled! Ha! well...maybe a bit! I taught Art in Public Schools in Nashville for 30+ years...mostly High School...some Middle School. Taught Art in the Metro Parks and worked as a commercial artist for 3-4 years around town. My philosophy is: "It's a good day if you are looking down at the grass!"
