"Ode to a Scab' was written in 1915 by Jack London. It's been reprinted, many times, in political & Union literature. A part of it is quoted in a question in "The Game that Never Ends" - without giving him a credit line.
[He also wrote: "White Fang" and "The Call of the Wild".]

Working from back to front for more than a month, I have only 789 more pages of portfolio albums remaining to view. There is some interesting stuff back there; it gets buried and missed.
This has been a long and daunting task, mostly because of the "Personal Profile" snap-shots that block access to the images of art work. That needs to change! Remove the snap-shots from the art!

I loathe the expression "What makes him tick." It is the American mind, looking for simple and singular solution, that uses the foolish expression. A person not only ticks, he also chimes and strikes the hour, falls and breaks and has to be put together again, and sometimes stops like an electric clock in a thunderstorm.
