About Me: My name is Crystal Perkins, I am originally from Richmond, Va and now reside in a little town called Kilmarnock, Va. I started my passion with photography in High School, trying to find my way and "niche" in life. When I joined Photography my Senior year, I found that I have a talent and I am good at it! So, I furthered my career by going to The Chesterfield Technical Center studying Commercial Photography I & II, which I received certificates for. While with this center, I also competed and was a member of VICA, or Vocational Industrial Clubs of America where I placed third in the District of Chesterfield and Fifth in the state of VA for Photography. I also studied at J.Sargaent Reynolds Community College for Studio Lighting I & II. I worked for a company as a photographer and lab technician for five years, and have been working professionally now in this field for 10 years. I currently am going to school for my Associates for Graphic Design in hopes of incorporating the two. I love to laugh, create, and have fun! I have a beautiful five year old daughter Ariana who is the love of my life and inspires me every day! I love networking, swapping design stories, and love a good conversation!
