About Me
I'm a Self-Taught artist from Saint Paul, Minnesota, and I complete these marker works during lecture--much to the chagrin of my professors. My work is very much a response to my time in Ghana, last year, when I lived and schooled in Accra, a busy, bustling, stinking, dancing, and sometimes burning African capital. The works incorporate the music of color that I saw in fabric, the city pieces that I soon learned to love, and most of all, my favorite method of transportation: the trotro. Well everyone, I made a pact with some friends. I told them I would be back in Ghana by August. Quite frankly, I don't think I'm going to have the money for that. What should I do? Send me some advice!
