About Me

I am a retired Navy Senior Chief (20 years). About halfway through my Navy career I was "made" the ship's photographer (quite against my will) by my Commanding Officer. By a bizarre twist of fate, I fell in love with photography, post production, graphic design, and any other related study I could get my hands on. By the time I retired from the Navy, I had already done design work for companies like Avon, and my course was set.

Today, I run Aboutimage Design & Photography with one business partner. We are a small firm, but have delved into a number of related services, including web site design, Search Engine Optimization, product and brochure design, and anything else our clients need.

We also run The Military Home Buyer's Network, a service for military and veterans who want to buy a home but are unsure of what to do next (or are rightfully nervous about picking an agent or lender)

Reading, Photography, Drumming (Mostly self taught, with some formal training at Seattle Drum School with Jason McGerr of Death Cab for Cutie)
