- About Me
- PERSONAL Native of Chicago, Ill., I started drawing at aproximately 8 years old. It was my mother and an older sister who gave me those first few vital tips on sketching and figure drawing. Soon after I was on my way to developing my own style, which quite frankly is to have no style, but be expressive and true to whatever it is I am portraying. During my earlier development conflicting interests and a lack of financial aid and support denied me any reality of going to Art School. During this time I was living in Puerto Rico, I had just earned an associates degree in Electronic Engineering Technology on a pell grant. I eventually enrolled in a college in the San Juan area and began my journey into comercial illustration and graphic design but I learned a year into the course the school was not accredited or properly liscenced and thus ended my early art pursuit. Naturally I wished I had sought further and harder for an art school at the time but that was not to be. My drawing and imagination meanwhile is showing improvement and in some cases wonderment. Years later I moved to Boston. Around 1989 my art began to gain local recognition by local businesses from law offices to restaurants to novelty enthusiasts. I have also won first and second place art awards from comicbook challenges, posters and pinup creations sponsored by comics and art magazines . These days I have two online galleries, At Renderosity and ArtBistro which I maintain with frequency. I am currently working on a 12 piece B/W pencil/scan and retouch in photo shop of local Boston interersts. My mediums of preference are pencil and ink on paper scanned in to a computer and colorized and texturized digitally. Tradional watercolor, oil and acrylic are also welcome on my palette. In some cases I combine three or more mediums which can result in some surprisingly interesting diplays. 3D Image creation is another on of my fortes, I love using Bryce6, Poser, Amorphium, 3D StudioMax, Sketch-up and PhotoShop for finishing. Please feel free to leave a message anytime.

I want to share with my friends
another 100% BLING-FREE painting:
by James Jacques Tissot, entitled:
“Young Lady In A Boat”
I hope you enjoy it!
~Bill~
FYI - Flashing, Sparkly, Glittery, Moving “Blingees” can slow down your page and make it hard to navigate. Many times it is very difficult to view your work - because of the Blingees. Graphics like the one above are very low resolution and don’t slow down your page - they just provide beautiful artwork.....:-}
