Well, Homer, to be an inspiration to anyone in life is an honour. I wonder how President Obama or, indeed, any one of 100s of others deal with such adulation and praise. It can be humbling or it can be a source of pride or a mixture of both....anyway thanks for your comment, Homer.-ron

Hi Ron! Thanks for adding me. After reading your full profile, I guess there's nothing left for me to do but express my respect and admiration for your amazing achievements. Like you, I'm also a teacher. But right now, I'm on leave to be what I have always wanted to be; a full-pledged painter. You inspire me, Sir.

Some in-coming comments on my wall seem to be ambiguous as far as requiring a response---solet me just say: "thanks" to all who write on my wall with no explicit question or comment for me to respond to in some way. I wish you all well.-Ron

To those who are offering me information about how to get a new job or a promotion, I can only say: "no thanks." I am now retired and receive two old age pensions--one from Canada and one from Australia. I use my bio-data now as an introduction at internet sites so that people get some idea of the background of the person who is writing. From my point of view what is for some an "over-the-top" introduction has a different value than the average "hello" or "nice to be here" styled-intros.-Ron in Australia
