  so here is another poem, inspired by my wife -- janelle renee robles-cottingham. i miss her more and more each day and long to be with her. but, i know that if i keep up the faith, she will be home soon. we spend each moment we have on the phone. and , i am working to get an apartment for us. so, soon!

  imagine morning
  caught between twilight
  or the syrup of lilacs
  suspended above a
  trellis of rain

  imagine
  your eyes
  resting
  into an arm of light
  pretend the aroma of your lips
  lingered
  that the frangrance
  of your kiss
  was caught in the air
  gleaming

  where do you go
  the moon hiding
  behind the clouds
  no stolen kisses tonight

  ====

  This poem was inspired by the fact that my wife is still stuck in another city. How I would love to have just one kiss from her. A moment to hold her hand and look into her eyes and tell her how much I love her.
