About Me
You can also visit me on MySpace at http://www.myspace.com/toolz111 Search by name, "Joseph Manutti" and presto! Come! Be my friend over there too! LMFAO!! OK, whatever...aaaaanyways...! OK so here's my deal (...prepare for switch to 3rd person 'bio'...Why you ask? because I think it was pretty darn well written on another site so I transplanted it here! LOL): Born in 1974 in Brooklyn, NY, Joe Manutti began developing his artistic talents at a very young age. An intense fascination with Hanna-Barbera, comic books and album covers led him down an imaginative and illustrative path. Years of involvement in New York's spray-can art scene greatly influenced the bold graphic nature and color theory used in his work, which would later be refined through formal, classical training in the fine arts. His current work features an energetic, expressionistic style of painting, more "near abstract" than abstract, alluding to imagery and form to bring his compositions to life. While this is the main stable of his work, Joe has become increasingly involved in the Kustom Kulture art scene where he enjoys the intense, bold, personality-rich style of art that is reminiscent of the original influences that prodded his interest in art so many years ago...OK so that was the press version, which is pretty much on-the-money...Also... (...prepare for transition back to first-person POV...hmm...have you watched one of those?) I think I’m one of the few native Brooklynites that truly love this city and all the incredible things it has to offer. Nowhere else can you experience such a strong, serene feeling of “I belong here, this feels good,” and yet be smack in the middle of so much random activity and chaos at the same time! Sit on top of a mailbox in Coney Island for a while and just let yourself enjoy watching the crowds, you’ll understand what I mean.

    FYI - Flashing, Sparkly, Glittery, Moving “Blingees” slow down your page and make it hard to navigate. Many times it is very difficult to view your work - because of the Blingees. Graphics like the one above are very low resolution and don’t slow down your page - they just provide beautiful artwork.....:-}
