About Me
WHOEVER TAGGED me "creep", please have the GUTS to identify yourself, little CS coward! If I had as much to say about YOU, you better believe you would know "tagged" you!!! Besides, I do not engage in such pettiness. "WHEEEEE, I'm a Creep!'' (I'm soooooo hurt) Grew up in and around Washington, DC. Seen a LOT of weird stuff go down there, from early Civil Rights Marches, Mayday anti-war protests, Watergate. I moved away twice, once to Pennsylvania, where it was "quiet", now Florida, a self-indulgent "paradise" that makes the four-year turnabouts in DC look like a bunch of pikers. But, I miss DC, a smallish city that has everything the largest ones have, plus it's the center of the WORLD, whether anybody likes it or not. I do. I have been an artist all my life in one incarnation or other, a Civil War reenactor and movie extra, an archer, a swordsman, and a hopless romanticist/idealist. Whether my ideals or romanticism is in your court is another story. Put down your money and take your chances. I don't BS anyone. Ask me what I think, I'll tell you, like it or not, but I do try to be at least polite about it. I have a BIG thing about "polite." ...and I like guns.

    John, first of all I want to thank you for your compliment. Now, to answer your questions, all my work in the technical illustrator album was made by myself, by hand, all of them. At the time I did those there was some primitive software available but I did not even know it yet. The black and white line work was a saved copy of the original, which was drawn on a 30" x40" illustration board. The purpose of the saving was that if I screw up I do not have to go through 60 hrs. of work all over again. Than I hand painted the illustration on the board, using Windsor and Newton watercolor paint which took me about an other 20hrs. The whole process took about an average of 80hrs. There was absolutely no computer involved.
