- About Me
- My main interests in art are to express my emotions and experiences, and to have fun!! I like to place a strong importance on composition in my landscapes. My biggest influences(artists who left a great impression on me through their work) are: -Cezanne, for his strong use of colour and composition. -J.M.W Turner, because of his great use of light and mystery. -Monet, mainly because of his different approach to composition. -Kandinsky, I like how he was able to create really dynamic paintings that convey a mood. -Caspar David Friedrich, since I enjoy the strong composition and beauty of almost all of his paintings.

You have a great start to a career as an artist-if you wish to pursue it :>)
If you have yet to do so......
Apply for grants for your MFA-start shopping for one or more colleges from the local JC to a 4 year state college & pursue degree(s) that express who you are
and enroll in every painting and art class you can regardless of how lame they may seem for your level-but you will gain from all of it as did I.
As far as painting with my hands-it ain't happening baby...they are strictly for computers and cameras-as far as art goes-though I do love pottery.
I forced myself to return to school to get back to slavery after many years of drifting-art and graphic design classes were lots of fun and actually helped me get my current-non art related job ...but the extra moola from that helps pave my way to selling my art..so its all good...AS I was trying to say..a degree is a magic piece of paper really works for your benefit if you choose your fields of study wisely....
Great work here!
I see lots of different styles from all the great painters of our time..
So tells us more about yourself in your profile-who influenced you as a child by their style?
Which is your favorite artist?
Finally-
Keep up the great work!
