- About Me
- Grew up a farmer's daughter near Lansing, Michigan with my parents and two younger brothers. Attended a small Christian school for junior high and H.S.; school was so small that I was the first, and only, graduate in 1985 and have to develop multiple personalities just to have a H.S. reunion. Graduated from Cornerstone University (fka Grand Rapids Baptist College) in 1989 with a Psychology major. After completing an internship, I decided that an M.S.W. was not prudent for my personality. Married my husband Tim (from CA) in 1990 and worked at a Pregnancy Resource Center. Then moved to Williamsburg, VA in 1993 for my husband to begin his M.A. at the College of William & Mary. Relocated to the Atlanta area in 1995 to be near family (and not work two jobs any longer!) and because the Olympics were coming in 1996 (saw tennis & baseball -- awesome experience!). After my second consecutive layoff in October 2008, Tim & I relocated to the Denver metro area to be near other family and take advantage of a better job market (?!). Love to make jewelry -- Tim calls beading my "crack" and says that I need to "starting selling" [jewelry] in order to support my habit. Love my dog Noel, who's a rescued Sheltie, possibly Welsh Corgi, possibly anything else, mix. Before her arrival, I had a Ragdoll kitten named Cotton, an orange tabby named Crouton, a rescued kitten named Blue, three house rabbits named Bruce (Holland Mini-Lop), Crumb (Netherland Dwarf), and Toy (Holland Mini-Lop), and a rescued kitten named Toonses (after the SNL skits). Would have a petting zoo if Tim could stand it. Oh yeah, I guess I need work in order to pay for these little habits...

Creative Group/Cushman & Wakefield, Graphic DesignSummary: Charlotte was actually my supervisor while I was a freelancer working at Cushman & Wakefield through The Creative Group. Charlotte was always friendly, professional and helpful in everyway. She went out of her way to make sure everything she did was of the highest quality, even putting in many extra hours to cover all assignments and needs of each project.
