    I received my web design degree a little over five years ago. Unfortunately, it only paid off when I was substitute teaching. As soon as I tried to break into the IT industry, everyone started telling me I needed certifications...

    You pay money to go to school on line, they aren't cheap!. You only get a entry- level job. Something to really think about.
