Selling Your Work

Commercial Galleries

The other is: How to Get Gallery Representation These essential articles will help you navigate the commercial gallery system.

Jay, Please go to the link provided. It is a very common practice. Almost every state in the nation participates. But it is not a national organization.

    Val,

what is your source for your statement:

"...in the United States, it is a law that 1% of the total building cost go to art for the building."

I've checked with several attorneys...& they've NEVER heard of this law.
    whats up?

I agree with Janice, Making a living at art is an on-going concern and could easily give a writer/researcher a full time job and could both help and save artists here the time spent finding the answers themselves. Excellent subject and article.
