Median annual earnings of Animators and Multi-media were $51,350 in 2006.

Mean annual earnings of Art Directors were $78,420 in 2006.

Designers usually develop their skills through a bachelor’s degree program or other postsecondary training in design.

Earnings for self-employed designers vary widely; some well-established designers earn more than salaried designers.

Think about how much money you would like to make. Compare this with the salary range you have researched. Narrow the choices down to those that fit your skills, desired income and interest.

Excuse me but the most important designer is in Fine arts artist. Painter or Sculptor these artists design and lay out that design and implement that design without any one else help or input. We have become so specialized we have forgotten the most important artist of all. Fine Arts and this detracts from the beauty of Art and it creators. The top of the list should read
Fine Arts/ Painter or Sculpture Artist, free hand digital artist
Graphic artist Illustrator or cartoon artist
    then
    all the rest follow.
If it were not for the fine arts artist all the rest of the art fields would not exist today.
Come on get your priorities right.
Is there not truth in what I say?
