Description: The group of artists in this show represent the diversity of practices evident in the Utah Valley art scene. There is an amazing amount of talent and ambition within the community. I believe there is talent in every local community, that if galvanized and channeled, can bring about important changes in citizen's perceptions of aesthetics, politics, tolerance, and so many other important issues and topics that are necessary for a healthy conversation between individuals in a community. It is great to see so many communities on ArtBistro, and to see it as the community that it is - one that is creating connections, opportunities, and significant independent dialog. - Jason Metcalf
