Description: Each of the artists represented in this show espouse a sense of the organic, whether in a temporal or ethereal manner. There is a multiplicity of media: computer imaging, site specific installation, painting, glass, ceramics, sculpture, mixed media assemblage - although all convey their desired concept with control and effectiveness. Such is the state of our contemporary art market. Even and especially with individual artists there seems to be an ability and desire to use whatever material is necessary to convey a concept or philosophy. This often leads to new aesthetic experiences where the viewer is left to make sense of a singular body of work, looking between the lines to find the conceptual ties between seemingly opposing objects. Thus follows this show. The artists in this show all employ different media, and even philosophies, yet all fit within the trajectory of current dialog. This show of course, also becomes a microcosm of ArtBistro, which is in and of itself (and becoming more so every day), a microcosm of our larger global art market. So, as a viewer of this show, and a user of ArtBistro, remember to holistically perceive every individual as a component of a greater whole, as an essential part within our own community, and the international art market at large.
